The beginning of this update marks a solid week of work for Jenn and I--a week of very little sleep, and a GREAT deal of magic. We haven't worked harder on much else in our histories, and I have to say, we could not have done any of this without the constant support and feeling of being held that the Goddess gave us. <--Honesty

That being said, what this update is comprised of, contains some of the most magical items that Jenn and I have ever created together. Including something that we came up with YEARS ago, when we first envisioned Glamourkin.

They're called "Seeker Stones~" <3 A set of stones, used similar to runes, for divination purposes, magic, reminders. The main sets come with thirteen stones in a hand collaged box, the "Booster" sets come with six stones in an organza bag. How do you use them? Pull them every morning, like you'd pull a rune, do a reading with them of past, present and future...pull one when you need a divine reminder, or when you need a little boost. Think about the message of the word, feel the weight of the stone in your hand, feel your connection to spirit abound. Jenn and I have been using one of these sets for a very long time, and it's pure magic--we are so, so overjoyed to share these with you. <3

Today, we also debut cork Glamourkins (!!!), Crystal Glamourkins, and we fill the shop again with our beloved spoon Glamourkins. We did something a wee bit different for the spoon Glamourkins this time around--they all contain a beloved quote or snippet from *old* poetry.

I'm asking you guys for a special favor this time. This month has been tight for us, because of the summer slowdown. If you're been thinking of something pretty or lovely to treat yourself--please consider doing so. If you were thinking of spreading the word of this update--we would appreciate it greatly. The update preview is now uploaded to Flickr, and I'm about to begin the Friday the 13th update at the Fable Tribe! Today, we have several new, magical Blessing Bowls, Antheia's Garden got a shipment, straight from the Fairy Kingdom, and we're debuting a new line of little hair treasures: Pixie Leaves! <3

The Fable Tribe's next update is tonight (I'll post the exact time when I post the photo preview--probably between eight and nine, EST!), and I was just in the middle of doing the photo shoot, and the camera was like TOO MUCH SPARKLE, and the batteries were eaten up by the glitter. ;D So to TOWN I must GO to PURCHASE more BATTERIES. (I swear to the gods, the fairies eat them around here. HOW many batteries do we go through? No, don't answer that. I'm going to hook the camera up to some winged hamsters next time).

So, I wanted to post the tease before I made the quest to town--the preview hasn't been posted yet, because I'm not finished with the photos--I'll update here when I am!

Tonight, we debut some sparkly, magical, new creations! Near us, we have one of the most magical Great Lake beaches--our family favorite, Olcott Beach. It's a historical little town with a lot of magic and dreams, and the shore is ethereal and golden. <3 On that shore, having undergone hundreds (and, one supposes, thousands) of years, are lake-smoothed, magical pebbles. We gathered these pebbles together, charmed them with words and a lacquer that makes them look like they were just plucked from the waves, and are thrilled with the result. <3 When you hold them in your hand, or they're against your skin, the smoothness of the stone is like holding a prayer. There's a great deal of old energy to these stones, and there's such a great deal of peace, as well--hundreds of years of surety in the magic of the universe, housed over your heart. <3

Secondly, we're debuting Blessing Vessels! Blessing Vessels happen to be the Blessing Bowls' cousin, though a little fancier, and a lot more glittery (IF THAT WERE EVEN POSSIBLE). These sweet little vessels hold a crystal, a whole lot of magic, and the intentions of a blessing. <3

Thirdly, Tarot Grottos! Charmed with the energy of that specific card, they're perfect for working with that card's energy, as a ritual or spell or magical reminder, and as a magical invocation on their own. The cards I did for this debut are The Empress, The Star, the Queen of Pentacles, The Magician, The High Priestess and Strength.

Lastly, but not leastly (NOW A WORD), there will be a small quantity of custom listings available for purchase for Glamourkins, book Glamourkins, Blessing Bowls (sadly, a super small quantity of these--there are three in the update, then two available for custom...still waiting for my supplier to come through!), Pixie Stars, Invocations and Grottos! First come, first served, and the customs will be done in the order they were received (unless you need something for a gift or another super-quick reason, then just let us know, and we'll work to accommodate you! <3).

Bright, blessed, vibrant Beltane to everyone who celebrates this beautiful Wheel of the Year--and to everyone else, joyous May 1st~ <3

Jenn and I always postpone Beltane celebrations until we're at the Fairie Festival, but we did a little bit of cavorting on the lawn today while hanging clothes...it's just crazy, getting ready for the festival and trying to get an update all squared away. *laughing* You know, posting an update two days before we're leaving because we're obviously crazed. ;D

So, the Beltane update is happening in the Fable Tribe tomorrow at five! We are going to try something very different for this one--I'm going to put up the picture preview in the morning, around eleven. You'll be able to see the Glamourkins that are coming (BOOK GLAMOURKINS AHOY), and the many Grottos we created--this update is Glamourkin and Grotto focused. And then, at five, everything will go live in the shop at once, so everyone has a very fair shot of getting whatever it is they have their heart set on, as long as they are at their computers at five PM, EST. I hope that works for everyone--we've been trying to figure out new ways that are ever fairer than before, so I'm excited about this one! I want to see what you guys think of it once it's over. :) <3

I still have to finish a story for an anthology I was invited to (so excited about it! The story is SLIGHTLY TRAGIC or SLIGHTLY UPLIFTING, depending on how you look at the ending. ;D), finish sewing the belt for my Puck costume for Saturday at the festival, go to the post office five billion times (thank the GODS our PO lady is awesome to the moon and back! <3), and get several things for the craft fair squared away. Oh, you know, AND UPDATE OUR ETSY SHOP, all before six AM on Friday morning, when we cavort our blessed little feet all the way to magic. <3 <3 <3

Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh, OMG I am so excited. XD XD XD You guys--we are WEARING OUR WEDDING DRESSES on Saturday at the Festival!!!!! Jenn and I were trying on all of the costumes pieces last night, making modifications and just basically doing a dress rehearsal of what we'll be wearing, and when the fabric of my wedding dress settled around my form, I had this intense surge of emotion. When I saw Jenn in that beautiful, divine gown again, I totally cried. ;-; ;-; ;-; I can't believe we're going to our fairy home, dressed in the same gowns we wore for our fairy wedding.

What else? I feel that this is so word vomity--I've been wanting to make a post all day, but we had to finish the update, and then we had to package ELEVENTY BILLION THINGS, because we're currently selling everything we own on eBay to whittle things down to a more minimalist level. :D *laughing* We've been doing that for months, actually, but the BIGGEST eBay update got finished a few days ago. We have...fifty boxes? It's insane. ;-; AGAIN, THANK THE GODS FOR THE AMAZING POST OFFICE LADY FOR BEING AMAZING. And never getting cross when I bring in more packages than I can carry. XD

Last, but CERTAINLY not least, I found out late last night that The Dark Wife's episodes of The Way of the Buffalo were nominated for the Parsec Awards!!!! Hugh and Veronica are such incredible people, and I'm so excited and grateful that we're on the list! <3 This, coming VERY shortly before the audiobook version arrives online...it's just a dream come true. :) <3 SO HAPPY!!!!
