My dearest ladies and gentlefae, you know that my beloved wife and I have worked tirelessly on transforming an unused space in our home into a veritable grotto of sacred acts of creation involving much LIBERAL USE OF GLUE AND GLITTER (translation: A CRAFT ROOM :D). We have FINALLY finished.

It is:

THE SPARKLE ROOM.

And now, here, we present it to you in all of its purple, glitter, rainbow-y decor and glory for your amusement and enjoyment. BE WARNED: THERE ARE MANY COLORS. ADJUST YOUR EYES BEFORE ENTERING. <3 <3 <3

If you step over the rainbow rug, you will enter: SPARKLE ROOM.




When you step into the room, this is the first thing you see: A RAINBOW EXPLOSION. (The rainbow buntings are from our wedding~ <3)


If you looked to your left, you would see our creativity altar!



On the very top of the shelf part of the altar, you have our selenite unicorn horn (ARE YOU SURPRISED), Jenn's seraphanite bear, my crystal point.



On the second row, you have our favorite Goddess statue, and our two tiny herkimer wands, made by a favorite craftsman in our area (herkimers come from NY! If you've never held a herkimer, you don't know what joy feels like in crystal form--they're so sweet and happy! Very sprite-like.). Bottom shelf row: fluorite shell, crystal cluster, MAGICAL DOLPHIN from Rachel (songtoisis)~ <3



On the actual altar portion, you see our handfasting ribbons, joyously displayed over a dangling herkimer (again, they are SO USEFUL to be in an area where you're creating! They give supreme joy and ideas. :)), my large lepidolite on a pillow, Jenn's large angelite, our GIGANTIC citrine (BEST. STONE. FOR. CREATION. EVER.) with stones on the citrine that represent us (fluorite for me, angelite for Jenn), and the amazing candles that Karyn (belladonnastrap) gave us for Yule~ <3 <3 <333333 There is also a jar of crystals for love and creation in the back--we just chose ones that we wanted near us. <3




The below-the-altar part is still a continuation of the altar, and craft books! Rachel gave Jenn that jellyfish. IT IS HER FAVORITE POSSESSION. <3

Laura, my sister, did the Last Unicorn drawing--Meg (of_airandfire) did the painting of us at our wedding! <3333


Rachel gave Jenn those little creatures (Sylvanian Families!) for Yule because she remembered because she has a FANTASTIC MEMORY that Jenn loves them. :) THE ONES ON THE RIGHT ARE GAY.


This is my work space! Those jars are from our wedding!!! They make me SO happy! ;-; My favorite MLP (FROM RACHEL FOR MY BIRTHDAY--BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT OF EVER. I should make a post about her one of these days--she's my childhood favorite MLP, besides Firefly, and her "lid" was missing on my much battered and loved pony. She's very rare, so Rachel tracked down a WHOLE PONY, lid shell and all. ;-;) helps me make things EXTRA SPARKLY, and there's a little dish of my favorite citrine and carnelian and fire agate to help the creative process along.

Meet Cecelia! She's been in every show we've done, and been very helpful. When not modeling jewelry, she stays in the Sparkle Room. :D Jenn's mum made us that apron as a gift--it makes us so happy to see it, and those are the first fairy wings we ever got many, many years ago.

It was so important to us to be surrounded by things our loved ones have gifted us with, precious treasures that make us smile and remind us of them. <3 There is so much joy and sparkle and love and happiness in that room--it is the most perfect place in the world to create, and we are so in love with it, happy with it, and grateful for it. <3

We want to go through and make posts like this for all of the rooms in our home. <3 We're so happy with how the bedroom looks, finally, and we're almost done re-ordering the Temple Room (AGAIN, we do this every month, I swear--we love changing it up! :D), so that'll be next~ <3
