- The fabulous Naomi Clark (naomi_jay) has a SUPER SEXY BOOK released today. It's called Shadow Cursed (JUST LOOK AT THAT COVER, LOOK AT IT. IT IS ALL SMOLDERY!), and--since she's an amazing writer and lady <3--if you are into gothic romances that are majorly smexy, YOU SHOULD REALLY GIVE IT A TRY.

- The Kickstarter to make The Dark Wife into an audiobook production is going amazingly well! I'm so happy and humbled and just blown away by all of the support and enthusiasm--you guys rock. <3

- The lovely Chris (sihaya09) at Sihaya Designs has just had a BEAUTIFUL update of magical, enchanted things. Clicky to have your breath taken away! <3

- I have a guest post at KT Grant's blog about The Dark Wife, writing gay YA, and how much people want to read lesbian YA books. She was fabulous for having me! :)

- Jenn and I have been trying to find time to put up some of my not-so-often-used perfumes on eBay for months--she finally got a chance to a few days ago. I know that some of you love perfume oil, so I thought I'd bring the link to those of you who might be interested in such things. :) (We've been doing some eBay sales, lately, but not really selling anything I thought you guys might like. When I put up some of my Pagan stuff, I'll let you know about that, too!) Our eBay sales include Haunt perfumes, some rare(r) BPAL (Weenies and such!), Arcana and etc. I'm sad to see some of my Haunt go, but--really--I have eleventy billion perfumes, and the moolah is better put to credit cards than sitting on my shelf.

- So, even though the New Jersey Assembly passed a bill legalizing same-sex marriage, the governor has promised a veto. Which, you know, majorly fucking sucks, but I was listening to NPR last night, all depressed about it, and they gave me a lot of hope that it might be put on the general ballot, and--if that happens--the polls say it would probably pass. So then NEW JERSEY can be JUST AS AWESOME AS NEW YORK. Don't even get me started on how effing excited I am about Washington or Colorado!!!! Any good energy sent to Colorado, by the way, would be greatly appreciated. COME ON, COLORADO. BE AWESOME. YOU CAN DO IT!

- For Valentine's Day, my GIGANTIC SURPRISE OF LOVE AND JOY for Jenn was to take her to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter--a place she's wanted to go LONG before it was even open (we're both huge Harry Potter fans!). We both loved it SO MUCH. My FAVORITE part (arguably! How could there ever be a "favorite" part?) was the Butterbeer. Now, the recipe in the park is actually vegan (they wanted to make it edible by the most people possible, so it has no milk in it whatsoever! Even the frothy top!), but the closest recipe to what I think it would actually taste like isn't. So we're going to experiment like crazy, and if we come up with something that tastes like it, I shall DEFINITELY SHARE. You do not KNOW how GOOD YOUR LIFE CAN BE until you have had Universal Studio's Butterbeer. :9 :9 :9 (I should make a commercial for them. XDDDDDDDD)

This is my Patented!Mulder!Look!(tm)--I have my wife and Butterbeer--life is swell. ;D

This week, I've moved my regular "Friday Random" post over to Muse Rising! I talk about awesome Etsy finds, one of my favorite poems, encouragement and allow-ability and include a sickeningly adorable picture of two white beasts you may know. XD

This weekend, we're heading to Atlanta to spend an awesome few days with Shel (aerialmelodies) and Ryan (ryan_a_russo)! It'll be fabulous and wonderful, and a lovely vacation--I'm so looking forward to it~ <3

- The Wishes, Comfort and Joy post has turned into something amazing. Courageous people are posting their wishes, and having them answered, and answering one another, and finding new friendships and little miracles in this beautiful season of light. Your kindness, unceasing generosity and compassion have left me in awe, and I am so endlessly blessed to be surrounded by people who are this good, this brilliant. :) If you haven't yet taken part in it, there is a whole lot of sparkle and love, waiting for you there. Hop in~ <3

- I cleaned up my userinfo page and added many new people that I hadn't known friended me yet (I'm an oldschool user--I've had my journal for almost nine years, and it doesn't send me an email when someone has friended me!). Sorry you were waiting so long, and welcome~! :) It'll be nice to get to know you~

- This is all very rushed, because this afternoon, Jenn and I are flying out to Chicago to spend the weekend with part of our soul family--Rachel (songtoisis), Daniel and Graeme. :) I have been looking forward to this trip for months--a bright, glowing set of moments in the normally hectic month that will rejuvenate and fill up my well with love, goodness, happiness and mirth. I have missed Rachel so much, I can't articulate it, and to be able to spend time with her in her new home, celebrating one of the most beautiful seasons nature gives us fills up my heart with joy~ I Can. Not. WAIT!!!! :)

- So, I have this amazing wife. Have I, you know, mentioned her lately? XDDDD I'm kind of ridiculously in love with her, and she's an angel, and her name is Jenn. The other day, we were making gifts at the card table together, and I was doing something tiny and painstaking, and I stopped for a moment to stretch. "You know?" I told her. "I want to tell stories that will change people's lives." It kind of came out of nowhere, this deep memory of what I so badly want to do--we hadn't been talking about it--but she smiled up at me, and said: "you will." I sat back down and looked at the VERY LONG LIST of gifts yet to make, and said sweepingly: "Oh, I can't--not yet! In January it starts back up full time again. Right now, I have gifts to make!" She stopped what she was doing and said, very quietly: "well, this is a gift to the world." Yeah. I cried. ;;;-;;; Gah, I love her...

- So this post is not TOTALLY MushMcMushershon, here is an absolutely adorable picture of My Parrot, otherwise known as Orca, and my incredibly wonderful wife. I'm training Orca how to stand on my shoulder while I walk around--he loves it, and I'm looking witchier every day~ ;D He came trained on how to give DEBILITATINGLY ADORABLE HUGS.

Today is absolutely, positively crazy--but I wanted to say three very quick things:

- The Glamourkin update will be going live very early Sunday morning~! I wire-wrapped all of them, but Jenn put the pictures on every single one, and did about 80% of the wording (the updates so far this year, I've done all of the wording--we have similar but unique styles, and I am SO VERY HAPPY she's back and creating again. ;-; They're so beautiful, you guys...seriously.). They are--in a word--sublime. Exquisite, through and through, they go back to our fairy roots--I can not WAIT to share them with you~!!! ;-; *LOVE to my amazing, magical wife*

- To all those local who are participating in National Novel Writing Month, we are holding the kick off party this Sunday at 2PM at the Spot Coffee on Delaware, downtown (hence the Glamourkin update starting very early. ;D). I can't wait to see everyone, and all the new faces--this is going to be the best NaNoWriMo yet! :) (To those new on my friends list, I'm one of two Municipal Liaisons for NaNoWriMo for our region...I LOVE NaNo--this will be my ninth year doing it...which is crazy to me, but means I obviously love it to pieces. ;D I promise I'll post about my NaNo novel when I have more time! I can't wait to see what everyone else is working on--and I can't wait to start~!)

- Tonight is the full Blood Moon or full Hunter Moon or full...it has lots of names~ Whatever you do or believe or practice, may this day be filled with beauty, magic and joy~ <3 <3 <3
