Edited to add: My friend Shawna just came over to my desk and handed me the gift she sculpted for me LAST MONDAY and had been carrying around with her ALL WEEK LONG to give to me when it became legalized. She was like: "I don't know what color Jenn's hair is, so I made it purple." I was laughing while I was crying (SWEETEST GESTURE EVER), and said: "It IS purple~ <33333333"

I have the entire weekend of the Second Annual Midsummer Faerie Celebration to talk about and five billion emails to answer (I'm so sorry, I'll get back to you soon, I have not had the interwebs for days!), but I'm still pretty sick (I got sick over the weekend, sadly), and all ponder-y, so indulge me for half a moment? <3

You have to know that, right now, my head is full of wedding ponderings and plannings and happy splashes of sparkle and joy~ We're getting married the first day the bill actually becomes legal in New York, which is--by my calculations--Sunday, July 24th. I don't think the City Hall is open that day, and APPARENTLY, you have to get a marriage license 24 hours before you can actually get married, so I THINK we have to get our marriage licenses on July 25th, and then get married on Tuesday, July 26th. I think. :D (THEY SHOULD REALLY MAKE A GUIDE FOR GAY PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER HAD TO THINK ABOUT THIS, THAT IS ALL I AM SAYING. XDDDDDD)

For that, we're doing a simple Justice of the Peace ceremony PROBABLY SURROUNDED BY LOTS OF OTHER GAY PEOPLE WHO ARE VERY HAPPY AND CRYING, TOO~ <333333333 AND THEN. In September/October, around the date of our ORIGINAL wedding (September 29th), we have the thought to do a REAL wedding that everyone can come to--a massive celebration of joy. But there are lots of caveats to that (can we afford that? o.o), and a lot of questions we haven't answered (good GODS, is that enough time to plan something like that? I mean, we did it that fast last time, BUT DO WE WANT TO DO IT THAT FAST AGAIN?), and it's just all very ponder-y at this point.

That's all neither here nor there. There was ACTUALLY a point to this post. You're impressed. I can feel it. ;D

I really want this to be my wedding dress:


It's a Mori Lee prom dress from several years ago, but I can't find the dress ANYWHERE. The closest I can find is this one...



MY QUESTION TO YOU: Does anyone have ANY IDEA what the model of the first dress is called, or ANY idea of where to get it? I LOVE the second green dress, and will be perfectly fine with it, but the first is DEFINITELY my first choice, so if anyone has any info I haven't already found, I will love you forever and ever and ever~ <3333

Again, this is all pondery--we don't even know if we're going to have the second celebration yet, and still have to hammer it down, but if we DO decide we're doing that, we're going to need to move VERY QUICKLY, and I'd like at least one thing nailed down. :D <333333
